The Le Chatelier Water Bath is a precision-engineered apparatus designed for determining the soundness of cement by the Le Chatelier method. It provides a controlled and uniform water heating environment for accurate expansion testing of cement specimens, ensuring the quality and stability of cement used in construction.
Constructed from high-grade stainless steel, the water bath is double-walled and insulated to maintain a constant temperature. It is fitted with an immersion heater, thermostat, and digital temperature controller, allowing precise regulation of water temperature up to 100°C. The bath can accommodate Le Chatelier moulds and is equipped with a lid and perforated shelf for specimen support.
